Video: Facebook “inventor”

Aaron Greenspan made the front page of the NY Times business section recently. The story written by John Markoff said Aaron claimed to be “the one who created the original college social networking system,” which eventually became Facebook. Aaron was interviewed by Vator.tv where he explains the “influence” he had in the early days of building Facebook. Aaron also shares a little about his new venture called Qubescape, which he calls a “Facebook for companies.” Aaron said it launches at the end of this month.

This is an extremely interesting post. It’s a shame that this turned out the way it did, however, everyone that contributed to the success of facebook should receive accolades (and a piece of that stock!).

I agree, this is an interesting video.. the concept Greenspan claims to have created has far expanded his initial blue print - news feed, developers platform

I used to think Facebook was ahead of its time…now I feel its really behind its time, communisitic, discriminitory, sexist, ageist, etc.

What the problem is with Facebook? I was at a bar and (being in the advertising/markeing industry) I felt the need to ask what others thought about FB. Most people HATE it….no specific rules/guidlines…..all users are subject to nonsense issues!

While suggest people to be friends with, because if you do….you can get “disabled” from Facebook? It is suppose to be a “social network utility network” which in plain english means…..re-connecting with former friends, associates, business partners. But with Facebook…if you try to do all that and make new friends at any given moment; they Facebook will disable your account? What is all that about….a website where you are suppose to make new friends etc.?

Yes, I am having my attorny’s look into it because it does not make any sense….especially when you receive generic responses. As as professional adult degrees, it is an insult…and not only to me….but your other users….do not market yourself as a social site….you are not. Like Nazism or Communism your are worse….because you do not clearly spell out your guidelines or rules.
As a professional in advertisiting and marketing….I will not have many good things to say about your site…are you sexist, racist, ageist or what?

    Tell us all, asap. Thanks.
