I just got this email from Vodacom confirming the launch of the iPhone 3G in South Africa -

I just got the following sms from Vodacom, “i… keep u entertained! i… keep u informed! i… surf! i… react to your touch! Join us from 9pm Thursday 25 Sept at Vodaworld. i… make my appearance @ midnight!”

the iPhone 3G looks very cool and feature packed. i will be saving some of my allowance to buy that phone.
