The IMC Conference in Cape Town that took place on the 5th and 6th June turned out to be a huge success. The event involved a full programme with a host of well-known names in the industry, keynotes and workshops that resulted in two days of marketing, networking and communication for all delegates.
With a line-up of speakers including, Mike Sharman (Retroviral), Neo Mashigo (DraftFCB), Christine da Silva (Neo@ogilvy), Ivan Johnson (140 BBDO), Jason Xenopoulos (NATIVE), Prakash Patel and Tim Bishop (Prezence Digital) as well as Keith Lindsay and Paul Geary (Prima Integrated Marketing), the IMC Conference attracted a number of marketing minds looking to gain more insight into various topics and trends. Delegates were given an opportunity to choose their workshops and direct a scope of questions to the speakers prior to the conference via Twitter; allowing for a tailor-made conference for all who attended.

Another highlight of the conference was first-time keynote speaker, Suhana Gordhan from Black River FC who shared a memorable and thought-provoking presentation about “How to be good parents to our brands.” – a well-received message that highlighted similarities between parenting and brand marketing mistakes.
Prakash Patel, CEO of Prezence Digital who presented his keynote with marketing partner Tim Bishop said “I just wanted to say thank you for setting up a world-class professional conference in CT. We were very proud to have been part of it and we look forward to being part of future initiatives and Joburg.”
Delegates also enjoyed the variety of topics and the overall conference experience including Gila Jacobs, Product and Marketing Support Specialist for Metropolitan International, who said, “I really enjoyed the conference and was pleasantly surprised at the superb organisation and roll-out of the event.
