As South Africa and the rest of the world celebrate the birthday of Nelson Mandela, Prezence Digital conceptualized and created this very inspiring tribute video detailing the life of the country’s former President and Nobel Peace Prize winner through Facebook Timeline. The video also includes the use of other popular social networks like Twitter and foursquare and photo sharing app Instagram.

The video is inspired by the idea that asks: Would the father of our nation have spent 27 years in captivity if he (and others) had access to the same technology, social media platforms and tools as we do today?
