Google is going for gold today with its interactive Google doodle entitles ‘Hurdles 2012′ in celebration of the hurdles discipline as part of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The latest doodle is part of a series of Olympic doodles that Google has been displaying on its home page daily, with each day highlighting a different sport. Past doodles for the 2012 games have included archery, synchronized swimming, diving, hockey, fencing and javelin.
While most doodle’s simply click through to a search results page about that sport that included updated results and a schedule, the most recent lets you compete in a hurdles race using your keyboard to run and jump. Afterwards, your time and awarded medal is displayed and you can share your result on Google+.
