According to The Verge, among the devices expected to be unveiled at a press event tomorrow in Los Angeles, is the Amazon smartphone.
Two of the devices, namely the updated Kindle Fire and new backlit “Paperwhite” Kindle e-reader, had already leaked online ahead of the event but the company’s smartphone could be a surprise addition.
While the phone itself has already been confirmed for production, there has been no indication of a reveal date.
According to The Verge the phone “runs a variant of the Kindle Fire’s Android-based operating system.”
However, sources have revealed that the phone isn’t entirely finished either and so few details would be revealed if the device does make an appearance at all.
