According to a recent study, not only does the US have a lower percentage of households with personal computers, but also offers slower bandwidth per user than countries such as Canada, Ireland, Sweden, Japan, and others.
The index measures used to rank various countries include the quality and extent of connectivity, percentage of those who use the internet and the content available to them as well as the web’s social, political and economic impact.
