Following shortly after Apple sent out an invitation for its event on 23 October that is expected to reveal an iPad Mini, Mac Mini and 13-inch Macbook Pro with retina display, Google has also issued an invite of its own.

Taking place on 29th October in New York City, the purpose of the event is still unknown, with as usual, very little being revealed in the invitation sent out to various media publications.
The invitation states only that ‘the playground is open’ which is exactly what Google said before it announced the Nexus 7. So, we’re betting on a Nexus device, more specifically the LG Nexus 4. With reference to Android development, we think that they’ll be announcing Android 4.2, which will be a refinement of Jelly Bean (read our review here).
What do you think Google will be revealing in NYC?
