One year after his death, Steve Jobs’s magnificent yacht has made its first appearance in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands.

The photographs of the magnificent “Venus” named after the Roman goddess of love, beauty and prosperity first appeared on Dutch website One More Thing. 

Designed by Jobs in collaboration with famous minimalist designer Philippe Starck, the Venus was unveiled at shipbuilder Koninklijke De Vries and accompanied by some of Jobs’s family members including widow Laurene and three of their children, Reed, Erin and Eve.

The Jobs family gave each ship builder a thank you note for their hard work as well as an iPod shuffle with the ship’s name inscribed on the back.

According to a report, the ship appears to be as it was described in Walter Isaacson’s biography of the former Apple CEO –  It is between 230 and 260 feet long with teak decks and large panes of ceiling-to-floor glass. The boat is also said to have seven 27-inch iMacs on board.
