Vodacom unveils Summer Promotion deals

Published by on Nov 1st, 2012, 1 Comment

Vodacom has taken the lid off its summer promotion which will provide double value to customers who purchase a variety of products and services including talk time, data, SMS, MMS, Vodacom Millionaires and selected content services. The ‘Double your Summer’ promotion, which is available to Top Up, Contract and Prepaid customers, will run from 01 November to 14 December 2012.

“Our summer promotion is bigger, better and gives even more value to our customers. Now they can double the fun on content services and double their conversations – what a great way to stay connected this summer,” says Enzo Scarcella, Vodacom’s Managing Executive: Brand Marketing & Communications.

Contract customers who purchase SMS, MMS, Data or My Minute month-to-month bundles get double the value of their purchase. All existing and new month-to-month contract customers will automatically receive the promotional benefit by default; no activation is required.

One negative is that contract customers who have bundled data (for example iPhone specific contracts) do not get the double deal.

Prepaid and Top Up customers who recharge with R29 or more will receive an equivalent number of voice minutes at no extra charge. The free minutes will only be valid on the Vodacom network and will expire at midnight following the day of recharge.

Vodacom Double your Summer free voice minutes:

Recharge value R29 R55 R110 R275 R1 000
Free additional voice minutes 29 55 110 275 1000

Prepaid and Top Up customers can activate Double your Summer for free by dialling *111# and follow the prompts.

Customers will also receive double the value on the purchase of digital content such as unlimited full track downloads, welcome tones, premium games, pictures and Mobile TV. More information is available at live.vodafone.com/double
