Pinterest’s Software Engineer Vy Phan, has announced in a blog post that the social pinboard-based site will be testing out an updated new look with a small group of people in the coming weeks.
The features of the update that are designed based on feedback from users include the ability for users to navigate more easily around the site and the addition of bigger pins with more information.
Pinterest also says that it has made improvements to the site “behind the scenes” to make everything work faster.
Easier to get around:
Navigation is now more intuitive making it easier and faster for users to get around the site.
The design now includes a new icon on the top left corner that accesses a drop down menu with several categories and subcategories to choose from.

More is, well, more:
Pins have been made bigger so they’re easier to recognize and more information has been added to each so the pins that you are most interested in are easier to find.
