With the launch of BlackBerry 10 at an event in New York City on Wednesday, both First National Bank (FNB) and Mango Airlines have announced that versions of their apps have now been developed for the new OS.
FNB’s popular Banking App is currently available for free download in the BlackBerry store and will also be available for BlackBerry 10 users in the BlackBerry 10 store.
Farren Roper, head of FNB Connect ISP and business operations said of the launch of the app that “We want to make the App available on as many devices and platforms as possible where it makes sense”.
While Mango CEO Nico Bezuidenhout revealed that its recently launched app for iOS FlyMango would only be available on other mobile platforms in the coming months, in a surprise move the domestic airline unveiled the app for BlackBerry 10 in beta.
