According to StatCounter, While Chrome’s growth has been somewhat slow since January 2012, with a 10.09% increase between January 2012 and January 2013, it has now, successfully overtaken Firefox in Africa for the first time.

i hate Chrome – it’s a system memory hog, slowing down my machine so much that i constantly have to force-quit it. i’ve also disabled all auto-updates, not only in Chrome itself, but in Windows as well – it still does stuff in the background all the time. Fed up with Chrome – Firefox here i come!
