Among continuous rumours of the development of an iWatch by Apple that include the application filing for the iWatch trademark, the patent filing for a slap bracelet smartwatch with flexible display, the hiring of a dedicated team to work on the device as well as the hiring of fitness consultant Jay Blahnik, who worked on Nike’s FuelBand, a design team has decided that it’s time to show its very own vision of the smartwatch, whether it exists or not.
Italian based Ciccarese Design has put together images and a video of its design concept that incorporates iO7 and comes in a variety of colours including green, blue and pink.
According to the company the concept is a realization of “style and functions, in typical Apple design” and they have already begun developing protypes, one in black and one in white, “to verify the ergonomics as well as the attractiveness of the object when worn”.
Ciccarese Design has also created concepts for the iPhone 6, the iPhone 5 New – a gadget that grips between your fingers with a display resting on your upper hand and the iPhone Fingerprint Scanner.
