Integr8 is a leading IT infrastructure supplier with offices across South Africa - today we take a look at their Cape Town office inside the Equinox building in Sea Point. Integr8 has won numerous ICT awards and is South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist.

I met Robert Sussman (joint CEO of Integr8) last year at the African ICT Achiever awards (I was nominated for ICT Young Entrepreneur of Africa) where they were nominated for a handful of awards including Best ICT Company to work for - having a look at their offices I can see why!

Google has offices in South Africa headed up by Staford Masie. Their goal is to expand the search giant’s advertising reach in emerging markets like in SA. Their office is a colourful combination of iconic Google items such as bean bags and lava lamps. Not quite the Google campus everyone dreams of working at in Silicon Valley but it’s a start.

This week Bandwidth Blog office photo features takes you inside the office of ‘drag n drop’ site builder Synthasite. I traveled to Silicon Valley a few weeks ago and managed to meet up with Vinny Lingham, the CEO of Synthasite. Their office is based in the heart of San Francisco and Vinny and his team is living the US startup dream. Synthasite also has a development office based in Cape Town, Vinny’s home town*. MIH Internet Africa is a division of MIH Internet (part of the Naspers group). Their mandate is to build cool web and mobile products for the emerging African market. MIH Africa was in the news recently when they acquired a majority stake in Afrigator, the African blog aggregator.

At present they host Haiya, a Kenyan site delivering music/entertainment news and blogs. They have some exciting and challenging products in the pipeline targeted for the Nigerian market, which is the largest internet audience in Africa. MNET is the TV powerhouse in South Africa with a decent online portfolio as well. They recently relaunched their online presence for all their channels featuring more social networking features and fresh layout designs. Looking at the other South African TV stations with a web presence e.g. ETV and SABC they are leagues ahead with their online products.

Their offices has a homely feel to it creating a relaxed non corporate working environment. Thanks to Wezzo and Graeme for the photos.
