Welcome to our new show, Bandwidth Blog Live, where in this instalment we’re looking at 3 reasons why you should play Escape from Butcher Bay.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was a first-person action and stealth video game that was developed by Starbreeze Studios and published by Vivendi Games back in 2004, and was remade for release alongside Assault on Dark Athena in 2008.  We feel Roddick’s first video game adventure was his most memorable, and in this video, we’re looking at 3 reasons why you should play Escape from Butcher Bay.

While we’re quietly holding out for yet another remake of this fantastic time, we’re looking giving three reasons to play the game based around what it did so well.

In this video, we’re exploring a range topics present in Escape from Butcher Bay, between the availability of choice, the game’s excellent pacing, and the world building that established the eponymous dark and gritty prison.
