We can all stop speculating and piling together various rumours in order to paint a coherent picture ““ Tim Cook has revealed the date that Apple Watch devices will start shipping to customers.
He snuck the announcement in at the earnings call this week. Apple have had their best quarter in history and are hoping that the Apple Watch will drive the profits of the Cupertino company even higher.
Previously, we were expecting the device to launch at the end of March, but even that was a bit too soon, it seems. Tim Cook said that the Apple Watch will definitely launch in April of this year.
Cook didn‘t offer any new details about Apple Watch pricing, which is one of the big questions surrounding the device. We don‘t know much more than the fact that the base device will cost $350.
The other concern is the battery life, of course, as we‘ve received reports that the test units were struggling to hold out during a typical day.
Do you think the Apple Watch will sell in its millions as all of Apple‘s products have over the last decade or so? Let us know in the comments below.
