Boston Dynamics, a company recently acquired by Google, has already shown us a Karate Kid inspired robot. Now they are bringing us their self-stabilising dog robot, and it‘s extremely impressive.
The company‘s latest quadruped has a head filled with a vast array of sensors which is used to cover different terrain types and remain upright.
Google’s newest bot gets its power via electricity and hydraulics move its fancy feet, which seems a likely explanation for why it’s relatively silent compared to other robots of this type. It weighs just over 70 kg and is quite nimble for such a large machine. Check out the video below:
