LG’s Gentle launches, a throwback Android flip phone

The flip phone was a major hit more than a decade ago, something you probably won‘t remember if you we born after the 80‘s. These days they are mostly for the elderly and the retro hipsters, or are they?
This form factor is actually still quite popular in Asia, and LG certainly doesn‘t think it is going anywhere anytime soon. In order to give their flip phone line-up a little bit more punch, the latest one called the LG Gentle will be running Android Lollipop.
The buttons are rather large (still making us think it is for the elderly customer), and the specs won‘t blow your mind. We’re looking at a 3.2-inch LCD touch-enabled display (480×320), 1.1GHz quad-core CPU, LTE connectivity, Android 5.1, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (with MicroSD support), a 3MP main camera, and a 1,700mAh battery.
While it does look pretty stylish, the nostalgia alone isn‘t going to be enough to make us want to pick up this device anytime soon.
What do you think about the LG Gentle? At what price would you be willing to give it a try? Let us know in the comments below.
