What to expect from Apple Watch update

Since the arrival of the Apple Watch the company has been stating that the piece of expensive hardware will become exponentially more useful as the updates and newer iterations of the Watch rolls along. Well, Watch OS2 is around the corner (coming in September) and there have been some very interesting rumors popping up.
The latest watchOS 2 beta 5 is being tested with developers right now and 9to5Mac has compiled screen shots that show a redesigned version of Music on the Apple Watch. Specifically, the Now Playing screen will show volume level indicator and the source of the audio file you’re listening to. Quick Play is also an added option to the main Music menu that can shuffle your music.

The modular watch face will allow for more custom layouts that display information and Paris has been added to the list of five cities used for Time Lapse. A new setting will allow for up to 70-seconds of display time instead of the current 15 seconds.
From a fitness perspective the Apple Watch will support 3rd party fitness applications like Strava. The apps will also be able to make use of the Watch’s multitude of sensors. This should improve the fitness experience with the Watch since Activity and Workout only track so much.
Most apps will be better thanks to third-party developers receiving access to the wearable’s sensors, meaning there will be new ways to customize and utilize the watch after the update hits. We are sure there will be many more updates to the OS and who knows, maybe Apple will debut the Apple Watch 2 as well?
