Microsoft has officially begun rolling out the New Dashboard Experience to Xbox One consoles, which was first announced earlier this year.
For Xbox One owners and fans, today marks an important day; Microsoft has officially begun the rollout of the console’s new dashboard.
The update not only brings a total redesign to the Xbox One’s front-end, but also introduces highly anticipated new features such as backwards compatibility.
Backwards compatibility will enable console owners to play 104 Xbox 360 titles at launch, with the Redmond firm having confirmed its plans to bring many more over the forthcoming months.
The new update brings Windows 10 underpinnings to the console, with the company claiming that due to some speed integrations from Windows 10, some “popular gaming features” might load up to 50% faster as well.
The update also brings a new Community section, in which users will be able to see what’s popular among gamers on Xbox Live and find new players who share their interests.
