LG have sent out press invites for their MWC event in February, and we are expecting the LG G5 to be the high point of their keynote. The invite has a green music box of sorts with “Play Begins” the operative tag line. What that means, of course, is what we’ve got to figure out.
The G5 has been rumoured to have a 5.3-inch QHD display, sporting a Snapdragon 820 processor and 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. That isn‘t anything revolutionary in today‘s smartphone market, but it‘s not what we are expecting of the LG G5.

What is more interesting is that there’s been mention of some sort of modular hardware piece to go along with it “” internal, external or extra-terrestrial, by the sounds of it. And perhaps that could be where the “Play Begins” line comes in.
The other possibility is that we won‘t see the LG G5 at all, of course. It could be a new product line, or perhaps something to do with an update to the double-screened LG V10.
